Flights Solutions Engineer, Delta, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
  • Experience with SQL/MySQL and Unix/Linux operating systems and commands.
  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience with web technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript and HTTP.
  • Experience navigating business organizations, managing multiple cross-functional stakeholders, and reaching optimal solutions across all associated parties.
  • Experience in flights domain, or an enthusiasm and willingness to quickly learn the domain.
  • Ability to adapt your message to the technical level of the audience and present technical materials to groups of any size and background.
  • Ability to self-initiate and work independently in a fast- changing environment.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $152000 - $222000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Improve and expand existing products, tools, and practices to increase functionality and support.
  • Design, code, and deploy efficient solutions to address customer technical challenges.
  • Resolve critical customer issues and participate in an on-call support rotation.
  • Understand customer needs, scale processes, and advise technical teams on product usage.
  • Partner with engineering to build, test, and troubleshoot our flagship integration middleware.
