About the job

The Product Deployment Engineering (PDE) Team for Measurement Services, gTech Ads EMEA Large Customer Sales (LCS), provides complex measurement implementation for Google’s top enterprise advertising clients. As a strategic technical advisor, the team serves as the critical bridge between LCS customer business requirements and gTech Ads’ service and engineering offerings.

The core objective of the team is to unlock data foundations, specifically driving the adoption of complex Google data strength products (e.g., Enhanced Conversions, sGTM, Google Tag Gateway, and Data Manager). Team members collaborate with high-growth enterprise customers on non-standard, complex environments to unlock business growth and defend revenue. To achieve this, Product Deployment Engineers (PDEs) conduct comprehensive audits and deep-dive sessions to diagnose technical environments, identify customer pain points, and enable product adoption.

The team partners closely with the LCS business, Google's enterprise-facing advertising organization, with the mission to empower Google's largest businesses in the EMEA region by delivering solutions, partnerships, and a commitment to their success.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales and Engagement Managers to understand customer marketing objectives, infrastructure and first-party data management strategy, and pain points.
  • Advise Sales and Engagement Managers to maximise adoption of existing Menu of Services (MoS) within their product area, advising on how to streamline delivery by prioritizing scalable solutions with last-mile customisation.
  • Lead deep-dive technical consultation sessions to uncover opportunities, ensuring solutions respect industry-specific data constraints and business cycles.
  • Translate complex customer requirements into clear technical specifications and solution designs, considering scalability, reusability, and best practices as well as a clear path to media activation.
  • Provide technical-product oversight during the implementation phase, ensuring the engineering build remains aligned with the original customer strategy, while deferring base code-level and system-building decisions to the Engineering team.
