Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in brand, social marketing or influencer role.
  • Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in consulting and working with behavioural marketing data.
  • Experience utilizing AI productivity tools to solve complex, multi-layered problems and streamline business or development workflows.
  • Strong experience managing creative development with external agencies.
  • Social strategy and channel management experience.
  • Proven track record of developing and launching social and influencer campaigns in a fast-paced environment.

Social Marketers establish the foundation for integrating social into all Google user touch points -- from advertising campaigns to event marketing to customer service -- in a clear and consistent way. We collaborate cross-functionally with product marketing leads to help align earned awareness marketing with the product and business roadmap. You will use data-driven analysis and insights to improve campaign effectiveness and value to the business, as well as exemplary online advertising solutions across Google’s key marketing initiatives.

Flow Music is Google’s AI music studio, from Google Labs. This role will be pivotal in driving influencer programs and social activations in service of our ambitious growth goals. You will join a small, mighty team in a scrappy environment, flexing between deep strategic thinking and roll-up-your-sleeves execution to shape one of Google's most innovative products.

As a Social and Influencer Lead, you are responsible for bringing Flow Music to life through driving influencer programs and managing Flow Music’s social presence. You will need to be an exceptional strategic thinker who is savvy about social media, knows how to cultivate community engagement, well versed in influencer programs, and is willing to innovate and think differently to drive mindshare for our products. You will work with teams and collaborate cross-functionally with key leaders across marketing, Public Relations (PR), Legal, Product Managemen (PM), User Experience Design (UXD) and central social teams to solve our toughest challenges, drive success on social and operate with impact.Know the user. US: $141000 - $205000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Develop social strategies to build mindshare and drive product growth.
  • Create and manage influencer programs to be unmissable amongst artist community.
  • Act as the primary partner for external agencies, own creative briefs, asset development, and production for all launches and evergreen content.
  • Lead social and content strategy for Flow Music’s social channels and cross-Google amplification.
  • Collaborate with Product, PR, Legal, and UXD to solve complex challenges and operate with impact.
