Google’s New Business Sales team is a group of professionals whose focus is on engaging and obtaining high potential advertisers, and subsequently persuading them to incorporate Google's range of marketing products (YouTube, Google Ads and the Google Display Network) into their current marketing strategies. This global and dedicated team is the engine behind Google’s continued growth.

Inspire and acquire high potential advertisers to grow with Google. As a Sales Principal, you will be the New Business team’s executive and individual seller, helping to shape and execute a go-to-market strategy within a specified area of the business for yourself and your peers. You will represent the business for key internal stakeholders, work with high potential and demanding clients, and operate as key business growth drivers for your region.

US: $130000 - $189000 (USD) + 60% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Develop a quarterly plan within your specialization area to drive business and productivity growth for you and your teammates.
  • Work with management to implement systems that support the execution of your strategy, including organizing training programs and influencing cross-functional partnerships.
  • Role-model and coach toward excellence within your specialization area to support the team’s pipeline development and go-to-market best practices.
  • Partner with Unified Fulfillment Optimization to develop better top-funnel support of your specialization area, including lead prospecting and Next Best Action upskilling.
  • Reach business growth goals by standardizing client best practices within your own book and getting involved in high-potential deals within other pipelines.
