Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in a project management or a customer-facing role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in a field relevant to end user research, (e.g., user experience research, market research, data analytics or end user feedback and insights).
  • AI Fluency with a capability to leverage AI technologies to drive operational efficiency and program innovation.
  • Ability to collaborate, build consensus, deliver, and drive decisions with executive stakeholder groups and cross-functional collaborators.
  • Leadership and project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive projects with competing priorities
  • Excellent unstructured problem-solving, strategic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to draw insights from data and manage recommended actions.

In gTech Users and Products (gUP), our mission is to advocate for Google’s users by creating helpful and trusted experiences across the product ecosystem. We achieve this by meeting partners and consumers where they are with support and help, representing their needs with our product partners and proposing fixes and features that elevate their engagement with Google's diverse product ecosystem. Additionally we provide a range of product services that ensure our products are optimized for every user, no matter where they are in the world (e.g., localization, digitization, partner integration, and more).

The Trusted Tester program delivers critical pre-launch insights to inform launch decisions as well as product improvements for Gemini and priority GenAI products.

The environment is dynamic, requiring high-touch coordination across multiple product areas, functions, and parallel work streams involving internal stakeholders, external vendors, and global user communities.

In this role, you will lead the execution of complex user research and insights programs while developing the technical frameworks necessary to enhance program scalability. You will be responsible for consistent delivery against major milestones, managing end-to-end project lifecycles from inception to executive-level reporting, and serving as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on program health and impact.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $140000 - $205000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Drive the end-to-end management of high-priority trusted tester programs to ensure product launch readiness and operational excellence.
  • Direct comprehensive timeline, capacity, and budget planning while tracking progress against strategic goals for multiple cross-functional initiatives.
  • Lead process improvement efforts to optimize operational workflows, scale programmatic efficiency, and reduce project delivery timelines.
  • Manage high-impact vendor and stakeholder relationships, ensuring streamlined communications and alignment across complex global teams.
  • Author and maintain comprehensive internal and external technical documentation, team sites, newsletters, and core business requirements documents.
