Google for Education Lead (Thai, English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in business development, sales or consulting, within education technology, enterprise software, or hardware.
  • Experience working with public sector clients, including government ministries, local/national agencies, or regulatory commissions.
  • Experience leading and executing GTM strategies or leading cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to communicate in Thai and English fluently to interact with internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in business development, sales or consulting and experience in driving cross-functional projects or strategic initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience in executing market creation strategies, policy advocacy, and thought leadership programs.
  • Experience managing public-private partnerships or change-management initiatives at a national level.
  • Understanding of the local education sector, including national policies, budgets, and decision-making processes.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and negotiation skills to construct engaging justifications and collaborate with global stakeholders.
  • Passion for AI, machine learning, and their transformative impact on education.

Google for Education is dedicated to transforming the future of learning through technology. The Education Go-to-Market (GTM) team brings Google’s portfolio of devices (Chromebooks), cloud services (Workspace for Education), and AI tools (Gemini) to K-12 and Higher Education institutions. We help educational systems modernize their environments and improve learning outcomes.

As the Sales Lead for Thailand, you will lead a cross-functional GTM team to drive the sales, strategic adoption, and growth of Google Workspace for Education, Gemini, and Chromebooks across K-12 (public and private), and Higher Education. In this role, you will act as a trusted advisor, leader, and advocate, understanding that the value of education technology lies in the comprehensive solution—including device deployment, cloud software, artificial intelligence, professional development, and change management—to drive meaningful learning and research outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a cross-functional GTM team to execute a country-level strategy, balancing long-term investments with daily sales. Collaborate across Google to drive an aligned approach that influences global product road maps.
  • Build executive-level partnerships with senior government officials, regulatory agencies, and policymaking bodies to drive large-scale national education programs.
  • Engage global OEMs and local partners to scale hardware and software distribution. Collaborate on business plan execution to achieve ecosystem sales goals.
  • Act as an AI advocate leading the Gemini GTM strategy. Help K12 and Higher Education institutions integrate AI into learning and research while establishing academic ecosystem partnerships.
  • Support national education adoption programs. Drive training and teacher upskilling to enhance teaching and learning at scale.
