Senior Product Manager, Storage and Analytics

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
  • 2 years of experience in Cloud storage and the overall public cloud ecosystem including customer requirements, market trends, competitive positioning.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technology or business related field.
  • 3 years of product management experience in database systems, ETL, data lakes/warehouses, or OLAP.
  • 2 years of experience working cross-functionally with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders.
  • Experience in storage as a service and data processing.
  • Experience in lifecycle data rollouts at scale, promoting product excellence and collaboration.
  • Proven track record of “big picture” strategy/platform/scaled-product thinking, enabling teams to deliver products that are effective, while creating new ways to drive data insights.

In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch by connecting the technical and business worlds. You can break down complex problems into steps that drive product development.

Our team works closely with creative engineers, designers, marketers, etc. to help design and develop technologies that improve access to the world's information. We're responsible for guiding products throughout the execution cycle, focusing specifically on analyzing, positioning, packaging, promoting, and tailoring our solutions to our users.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the product strategy (partnering with cross-functional) for Napa (Google's analytics engine).
  • Work across AIF, AIS, and GDM to deliver a purpose-built analytics data warehouse to provide scalable access to performance metrics.
  • Implement an integrated storage architecture leveraging the Unified Data Model (UDM), embeddings, and vector search to enable low-latency semantic retrieval and "single-click" analytical environment setup.
  • Be able to re-envision data warehouse Critical User Journeys (CUJs) for an agentic environment, defining and delivering the specific skills required to execute these journeys within Jetski.
  • Deliver sub-minute data ingestion availability latency (MALS) and precision row-level deletions.
