Senior Software Engineer, Chrome Test Infrastructure

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms and software development in one or more programming languages.
  • Experience with distributed systems and architecture, and systems integration.
  • Experience in cloud/full-stack web development (e.g., Python, JavaScript).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Masters degree or PhD in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with ML algorithms and AI application development.
  • 4 years of experience deploying Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Quality (CQ) systems.
  • Experience with C++ development.

Our team is in charge of building and maintaining the processes and code that helps build the most beloved browser in the world.

As part of our team you will not only be building infrastructure you will be developing a product that helps thousands of experienced engineers achieve their goals.To build the next generation of infrastructure support you will have to develop innovative algorithms for outlier detection and test success modeling. You will integrate LLMs into the development flow for faster regression detection. You will understand our clients needs to best serve them.
Chrome is dedicated to building a better, more open web. Responsibilities

  • Build the next generation of test infrastructure.
  • Integrate LLMs with our detection systems for more accurate pinpointing of issues.
  • Develop novel algorithms for optimizing build and test run times.
  • Work with Chrome developers to identify pain points in the Chrome release process.
