Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in product marketing, including branding, messaging, positioning, targeting, and product launches.
- Experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
- Experience in the education and learning sector.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in the education and learning space.
- Experience in solving creative problems who can seamlessly go from strategy to ideation to execution; and work collaborative across highly matrixed teams in a global organization and across all of Google.
- Experience utilizing AI productivity tools to solve complex, multi-layered problems and streamline business or development workflows.
- Ability to be comfortable with ambiguity and can self-direct their projects in an unstructured environment.
- Ability to work in an ambiguous and fast-changing environment with an entrepreneurial approach.
About the job
As a Brand Marketing Manager on the Education marketing team, you will set the overarching strategic narrative and build audience trust in Google’s AI Learning ecosystem at a global scale. You will partner with senior stakeholders across the organization to drive cross-functional alignment on differentiated positioning, lead high-impact earned, owned, and paid amplification strategies, and elevate Google’s voice among key opinion formers, policymakers, and educator communities.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.US: $141000 - $205000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Lead the multi-year brand strategy and global go-to-market architecture for the education narrative, grounding strategic direction in deep market dynamics and audience insights.
- Define the foundational positioning and messaging frameworks that articulate our ecosystem's unique value proposition and leadership in AI for education.
- Architect and direct major global launch moments and brand amplification campaigns across high-visibility surfaces, keynotes, flagship events, and digital hubs.
- Influence and align cross-functional leadership across Product, PR/Comms, Policy, and Marketing to ensure a unified narrative across the entire company, and build scalable global-to-regional operating models, frameworks, and asset governance to empower regional teams to scale the narrative effectively.
- Establish measurement frameworks and sentiment/brand health metrics to evaluate long-term narrative impact and guide brand marketing investments.
