About the job

From keeping Googlers safe and secure to managing disruptive incidents and crises, the ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act are the pillars of Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team.

As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resilience are integrated into every facet of Google, including operational strategy. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business operations and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop exceptional programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.

As a vital member of the GSRS APAC senior leadership team, you will orchestrate the end-to-end design and execution of our regional safety, security, and resilience strategy. You will govern the operational cadence and OKR planning cycles, translating incident metrics and operational audits into data-driven foresight that optimizes resource allocation across the region. You will lead complex project portfolios—ranging from high-profile real estate deployments to cross-functional program rollouts—while breaking down organizational silos.

Additionally, you will serve as a key operational anchor during geopolitical and regional crises, partnering closely with the Crisis Management Team and providing governance for Tier-1 corporate and executive events to ensure total business readiness and continuity across APAC.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end design, formulation, and execution of regional operational strategy, aligning GSRS APAC strategic priorities and delivery with Google APAC business operations.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to the GSRS APAC senior leadership team on high-impact challenges, leveraging global network expertise while maintaining strict discretion and confidentiality.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment on key regional OKRs and priorities, managing the project portfolio from inception to completion with robust reporting, governance, and tracking.
  • Lead different regional teams to deliver complex strategic initiatives, applying sound business judgment to prioritize work, resolve high-impact issues, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Deliver critical operational support during active geopolitical crises and regional incidents, while directing executive communications, regional operational rhythms, and leadership engagement strategies.
