Principal Strategic Security Consultant, Mandiant, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience assessing and developing cybersecurity solutions and programs across security domains.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time as needed.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with delivering insights and as a trusted advisor to executives and boards.
  • Experience in executive-level leadership in relevant domains (e.g., cyber threat management, cyber risk, security operations, intelligence, and security consulting).
  • Experience in client advisory, strategy, consulting, and program management.

As a Strategic Leader, you will drive Mandiant Services growth by building executive relationships and overseeing complex programs across Google Cloud and client ecosystems. You will advocate our cyber-security goal externally through industry events, blogs, and whitepapers, while leveraging deep industry acumen to unlock new strategic account opportunities.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $217000 - $303000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Serve as trusted advisor and executive sponsor to CxO level executives at selected accounts regarding all aspects of cyber risk management, strategy, planning, transformation, cyber threat management, and cyber operations.
  • Work with our clients’ executive leadership to influence and advice on their organization's strategic cyber goals.
  • Advice and support clients to implement and manage the development, execution, and regular tracking of long-term business and commercial security strategies and milestone achievement, enabling the client organization to ‘move fast’ through efficient execution of cyber initiatives.
  • Oversee security service delivery programs, inform clients on progress and outcomes, and ensure that service expectations are developed and met.
  • Work with client stakeholders to articulate the threat landscape, determine relevant cyber threats, help define cyber risk metrics, intelligence needs, and requirements for improvement.
