Senior Software Engineer, Generative AI, gUP

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience with software development in Java programming language.
  • 1 year of experience with GenAI techniques (e.g., LLMs, Multi-Modal, Large Vision Models) or with GenAI-related concepts (language modeling, computer vision).
  • 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
  • 3 years of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g. C++, Java, Python).
  • Experience working with large scale data processing and ML platforms.
  • Experience with quality analysis and improvement using relevant tools (A/B testing, experiment frameworks, data analysis).
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and investigative skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate across boundaries.

Additionally we provide a range of product services that ensure our products are optimized for every user, no matter where they are in the world (e.g., localization, digitization, partner integration and more).Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $174000 - $253000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy and maintain large software systems for user feedback model serving, Cases AI assistant and other ML based support needs. Prototype and build features and solutions in a fast-moving environment.
  • Manage individual and project priorities, deadlines and deliverables. Be a part of 24x7 support rotation.
  • Collect and analyze data for training, understanding and evaluation to understand larger recurring problems, and solve them.
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product Management, and UX to complete tasks end to end with minimal guidance from executive leads, and influence product requirements.
  • Review code developed by other engineers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
