As Director, Mid-Market Sales (Commerce) for Google Customer Solutions (GCS), you will serve as a thought leader and strategic GTM driver for our highest-touch commercial growth programs. Leading an organization of professionals across four pods in New York, you will set the outlook and strategy to transform customer businesses across high-growth commercial enterprises, omnichannel retailers, and digital-native brands.

In this role, you will lead and prepare our next generation of leaders for the AI era, positioning Gemini AI solutions and full-funnel YouTube video integration as indispensable commercial growth engines for C-suite partners.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $230000 - $320000 (USD) + 80% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute a high-impact outlook establishing ambitious KPIs tied directly to product adoption (including Video and AI Max Search) while leveraging the full Google platform to exceed growth goals.
  • Recruit, mentor, and empower a manager-of-managers sales organization of professionals skilled at engaging C-level client leadership, building bench strength.
  • Cultivate deep C-suite partnerships (e.g., CEOs, CMOs), positioning Google as an indispensable business partner by advising executive stakeholders on AI literacy, video integration, and digital transformation.
  • Operationalize innovative, agile strategies and GTM playbooks that transform customer businesses and scale execution across fast-scaling digital brands and commerce leaders.
  • Partner across GCS, Product, gTech, Marketing, Finance, and RSO to align strategy, advocate for commercial solutions, and serve as an industry thought leader in Commerce.
