About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

Google's infrastructure is some of the most complex, scale-intensive, and high-performing in the world. As the Global Finance Program Manager for Data Center Operations (DCOps), you will lead the financial framework, budgeting strategy, and operational process standardization for our global fleet of data centers. This role sits at the critical intersection of technical operations, physical plant engineering, and corporate finance.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining and driving the standard operating procedures (SOPs) for how multi-million dollar budgets are planned, tracked, and evaluated across our global footprint. You will navigate high levels of ambiguity, establish robust financial governance, and deliver actionable insights that directly influence leadership decision-making. You will partner with teams ranging from fleet health and maintenance scheduling to third-party data centers and spares management to build a unified, operationally efficient, and fiscally disciplined organization.
