About the job

Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

As a Marketing Manager in the APAC YouTube Marketing Team, your work is instrumental in driving subscriber growth and brand love for YouTube Premium and YouTube Music across the region. You will lead the development of regional campaign platforms and go-to-market strategies that balance regional scale with local country relevance. Working in close partnership with country marketing teams across multiple markets, you will help localize and scale work that drives consideration, trial, and retention. You will also coordinate across global and regional teams to turn consumer and business insights into effective, high-performing marketing executions.

Responsibilities

  • Be a go-to-market advocate for YouTube Subscriptions (YouTube Music and Premium) in APAC.
  • Distill business and funnel challenges into clear briefs and creative concepts that drive subscriber growth. Advocate for creative craft and storytelling, iterating on assets and messaging to maximize engagement and conversion across touchpoints.
  • Partner closely with country marketing teams to adapt regional campaigns for local relevance, language, and cultural context. Manage external agency partners across creative, production, and localization, setting clear expectations and holding them accountable for quality and delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Global Product Marketing, Media, PR, Legal, and Partnerships to ensure execution.
  • Design and run creative test-and-learn experiments to uncover what works, measure performance, and scale best practices across markets. Monitor campaign performance, track business impact against acquisition and retention goals, and share actionable takeaways with regional leadership.
