Global Field Activation Lead, Google Cloud

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in business operations, enablement, or customer facing roles.
  • Experience with product, program, or project management (e.g., stakeholder or partner management).
  • Experience with managing implementations, delivery, and change management in management consulting, business strategy, extended workforce service procurement, vendor management, procurement, or supply chain.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Direct experience selling cloud products or driving GTM motions specifically focused on enterprise IT infrastructure (e.g., compute, storage, networking, database, cloud migration).
  • Demonstrated experience creating field enablement content, playbooks, customer-facing value narratives, and seller toolkits.
  • Deep experience synthesizing seller feedback and pipeline metrics (e.g., conversion rates, win rates, cycle times) into structured insights to refine strategy and measure ROI.
  • Proven track record of designing and driving scaled GTM programs, field plays, and sales enablement strategies across global or regional field teams.

About the job

As a GTM Field Activation Lead for Google Cloud, you will bring your experience and thought leadership to help drive the goal, mission, and strategy around GTM’s Infrastructure activation strategy. The goals of the Field Activation function are to enable all roles for the infrastructure sales play as they engage with customers and partners, and establish active communities, listening strategies, and feedback loops to fuel continuous iterations. You will partner with the field to implement changes that improve frontline productivity and drive customer success. You are accountable for sourcing customer insights and channeling them back to the field to drive seller productivity, and quantifying field adoption through success metrics such as active opportunities, opportunity conversion rates, win rates, etc.

You will showcase strong investigative and program management skills by determining key focus areas to drive field activation and delivering programs designed to address noted skill gaps. You will partner with key cross-functional stakeholders, including Learning and Development, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Partners and Sales. You will interface directly with customers, both helping them to understand Google Cloud’s offerings and gathering their feedback. Finally, you will recommend ways to adapt as the market and customer needs change.Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver enablement programs that equip field roles with the tools, narratives, and skills needed to execute the Infrastructure sales play.
  • Establish seller listening strategies and active communities to source frontline customer insights and funnel them back into GTM and product strategies.
  • Track key performance metrics—such as active opportunities, win rates, and conversion rates—to measure productivity gains and program return on investment (ROI).
  • Partner across Sales, Product Engineering, Marketing, Learning and Development, Finance, and Partners to align strategies and execute unified activation initiatives.
  • Interface directly with enterprise customers to convey Google Cloud’s value proposition, gather feedback, and adapt field strategy as market needs evolve.
