Senior Product Manager, Google Workspace AI, Gmail

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role.
  • 2 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within GenAI, AI/ML, LLM's.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience building complex mobile and web experiences that successfully launch to billions of users (consumers and business).
  • Experience with and understanding of AI/ML and LLMs (applications, prompt engineering, training and evals, quality etc), including successful development and launch of one AI-centric product.
  • Strong UX intuition for generative content surfaces understanding the design of interfaces that manage latency, establish clear user predictability, and can manage model failures.
  • Comfortable leading large cross-functional teams with executive stakeholders and heavy VP visibility.

US: $192000 - $278000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Product lead for Summarization journeys, including Topics to Catch Up on and Email AI Overviews.
  • Drive strategy, roadmap, and execution of pivotal AI Inbox features to help users act on emails.
  • Deliver email summaries in classic inbox, highlighting deadlines and enabling task reminders.
  • Lead product definition and AI quality for summarization in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
  • Set quarterly objectives and key results (OKRs), define market opportunity, and drive product roadmap to achieve goals.
