Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g. Swift).
- Experience in developing iOS applications.
Preferred qualifications:
- Ability to work and achieve results without daily supervision collaborating with other engineers.
- Ability to work on highly scalable, database-backed, and distributed systems.
- Ability to focus on delivering value rather than pure engineering.
- Ability to communicate with internal and external partners to create system design.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test new user-facing features for fitness metrics within the Google Health iOS app.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested Swift and Objective-C code, following iOS best practices and Google Health's coding standards.
- Contribute to the full development lifecycle, including ideation, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and monitoring.
- Debug and resolve issues, optimize application performance, and ensure a high-quality user experience on the iOS platform.
- Work with on-device data and algorithms to deliver real-time feedback and personalized insights to users.
