Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience programming in C++, Java, Python, Kotlin or Go.
- 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products.
- 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- Experience with agentic development.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Experience launching and iterating on agentic features on a consumer product.
- Familiarity with data analysis and research techniques.
- Passion for the health space.

Responsibilities
- Work with Executive Engineers, cross-functional peers, and leadership to craft a roadmap and technical deliverables for the agentic experience in the Google Health app related to Metabolic Health, Nutrition, GLP-1, and chronic disease management as it pertains to nutrition.
- Scope out, estimate, and architect high-level features and agentic workflows that help users create and achieve their nutrition, weight, and metabolic health goals in the Google Health app. Design infrastructure to accelerate hill-climbing and evaluations, and develop clinical-grade AutoRaters.
- Mentor and lead other software engineers, helping safeguard and bring up the quality of the team.
