Analytical Consultant (English, German)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.
  • Ability to communicate in English and German fluently to engage with global internal teams and external clients.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with marketing measurement and attribution techniques (e.g., offline measurement, MMM, MTA) and Google advertising products (e.g., Google Ads etc.).
  • Experience utilizing AI productivity tools to solve complex, multi-layered problems and streamline business or development workflows.
  • Client-facing experience, with a track record of influencing across levels.
  • Knowledge of SQL, databases, and basic automation techniques (e.g., dashboards, automating custom reports).
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and distill them into actionable insights that are presented in a logical and compelling story.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with comfort delivering simple and compelling stories to audiences of all levels.

As an Analytical Consultant in LCS Retail Omnichannel Switzerland, you will be the trusted advisor to Switzerland's most sophisticated and iconic retail brands.

You will sit at the intersection of consumer behavior, retail digital transformation, and advanced marketing science, partnering directly with C-level executives, Chief Marketing Officer (CMOs), and heads of performance.

In this role, you won’t just crunch numbers; you will leverage Google’s proprietary datasets and market intelligence to build narrative-driven strategies.

You will advocate the transition to an AI-first retail landscape, guiding omnichannel leaders in connecting online and offline shopper journeys (O2O), scaling AI-powered bidding and creative solutions, and showing incremental business value.

Working alongside Industry Managers and product specialists, you will directly shape the commercial strategies of the Alpine region’s retail ecosystem.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and consulting on clients' and partners' strategies in sales, marketing, or product development, translating data into actionable insights to facilitate business decision-making.
  • Develop and own investigative modeling for key client and partner projects, applying or customizing tools (e.g., dashboards) and frameworks to identify opportunities and optimize product effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to drive business growth, conduct in-depth analyses to identify opportunities, and support the development of go-to-market pitches and marketing collateral.
  • Build and manage relationships with client and partner stakeholders across functions and levels, owning direct engagement with key data stakeholders.
