About the job

Google Shopping helps connect people with retailers at every moment of their shopping journey in and out of the store. With the launch of Shopping Actions, users now have an easy way to shop for products across Google Search, Assistant, and Shopping Express with a universal cart, whether they’re on mobile, desktop or even a Google Home device.

Google Shopping is Google's Comparison Shopping Service (CSS). A Comparison Shopping Service (CSS) is a website that collects product offers from online retailers and then sends users to the retailers websites to make a purchase. Merchants need to work with at least one CSS to begin placing shopping ads on Google general search. Google Shopping is a Google Premium CSS partner that helps businesses grow by selling more and better across Europe. Google Shopping is responsible for driving shopping growth in the European Economic Area and Switzerland, offering consultancy and education to maximize merchant performance while collaborating with Google Support teams such as PerfX, gTech and Marketing. While Google Shopping manages thousands of merchants and billions in Google ads revenues; the team is comprised of less than 100 Googlers from all corners of the globe, including account managers, analytical experts, sales leaders and functional partners like marketing, strategy operations and finance. GSS operates independently from other Google Ads teams and works to balance client-facing excellence with robust and scalable solutions to manage and nurture a large and varied customer base.

The Global Business Organization (GBO) is the engine that powers Google’s full ecosystem of products and services to help customers and partners succeed and grow. GBO includes the commercial arms of Ads sellers, business development teams, and customer services and support, as well as overlay programs that enable coordinated engagement with Google's most complex and important customers and partners.
