Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in product management, marketing, management consulting, or project management in technology.
  • Experience working with Product Management or Engineering teams, executive leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience with digital advertising solutions (e.g., Google Ads, YouTube, programmatic, performance marketing).

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing complex operational escalations and driving process improvements in a global environment.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis and visualization tools.
  • Excelent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical and operational concepts to audiences.
  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive change across various functions and levels of an organization.

This role sits in the Responsible Media Solutions team within Global Product Solutions. Our mission is to unlock the full potential of Google AI for advertisers by shaping durable safety, suitability, quality, and sustainability strategies that insulate and accelerate ads business.

In this role, you will transform our operational landscape into a proactive, strategic engine for horizontal and emerging priorities within the Responsible Media Solutions (RMS) team. You will drive efficiency, uncover new business opportunities, and directly influence the strategic direction of our responsibility solutions for YouTube Ads. You will be the connector between immediate operational issues with our long-term strategic growth, leveraging a unique blend of operational expertise, investigative excellence, and cross-functional leadership to turn data into strategic initiatives across a set of critical areas.

Global Solutions is the link between Google products and business. Your focus is to help turn innovation into complete, packaged tools that allow our customers to get the most that they need from our products. As part of the Global Solutions team, you'll help to ensure that Google has adopted the right strategy for our products. Working in one of three specialized areas – Performance, Brand, or Publisher & Platform – you'll use your expertise to help front-line Sales partners to work their magic quickly and effectively. You are passionate about all things digital, and want to help shape the world of online advertising.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $124000 - $178000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Own tactical and strategic execution for YouTube, scaling responsible frameworks and driving direct product launches across emerging business lines.
  • Partner with Go-to-Market, Industry Relations, Policy, and PR teams to build feedback flywheels, translating customer sentiment and global industry trends into actionable business insights.
  • Collaborate with Strategy and Operations to establish, monitor, and report on core YouTube responsibility metrics, independently translating high-level goals into highly structured, investigative processes.
  • Direct rapid-response strategies and high-stakes crisis communications, aligning cross-functional teams swiftly to mitigate reputational risks during critical, fast-moving events.
  • Transform complex, abstract frameworks (such as responsible AI, risk mitigation, and policy compliance) into compelling market differentiators and business-enabling programs.
