About the job

We're looking for a Financial Analyst to join the DeepMind Finance team in a role that has a dual focus: managing data costs together with Generative AI and central consolidation of financial forecasts across all of DeepMind. In this role, you will help our technical teams make smart financial decisions while providing accurate financial visibility across the organization.

You will work side-by-side with the teams developing Generative AI while driving central forecast processes. This means you will need to get comfortable with the technical side of things – how models are built, trained, and used – as well as core Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) reporting. You will use that understanding, and your finance skills, to create clear cost estimates, explore different "what-if" scenarios for model development, and give practical advice on how to spend effectively.
Artificial intelligence will be one of humanity’s most transformative inventions. At Google DeepMind, we are a pioneering AI lab with exceptional interdisciplinary teams focused on advancing AI development to solve complex global challenges and accelerate high-quality product innovation for billions of users. We use our technologies for widespread public benefit and scientific discovery, ensuring safety and ethics are always our highest priority.

We are pushing the boundaries across multiple domains. Our global teams offer diverse learning opportunities and varied career pathways for those driven to achieve exceptional results through collective effort.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
