Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in advertising, marketing technology, management consulting, or product management.
  • 2 years of experience working with Product Management or Engineering teams, executive leadership, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • 2 years of experience developing business strategies, managing cross-functional initiatives, or project management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience generating problem statements, identifying solutions and making recommendations.
  • Ability to apply your understanding of the customer, intelligence, external trends, and data to global commercialization strategies.
  • Ability to uncover and understand stakeholder needs through dialogue in order to conduct analysis and make recommendations.
  • Ability to proactively take ownership of projects by setting and achieving milestones, synthesizing input from many stakeholders, creating outputs appropriate to the audience(s) and driving awareness/adoption of final deliverables.
  • Ability to clearly drive business strategy with both GBO and product stakeholders.
  • Excellent investigative skills, including quantitative fluency.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GTM) is a global team that serves as the strategy, operations, and product commercialization partner to Global Business Organization (GBO). The team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business delivers growth and operates effectively.

This team is responsible for setting go-to-market strategy, shaping priorities and resources to accelerate business growth, and launching the next generation of Ads products (from representing the customer to advocating for product requirements to ensuring teams are equipped to foster customer success, product adoption, and business health at scale). This team plays an important role in building excellent go-to-market infrastructure from tooling to enhancing GBOers' business skills to ensuring flawless execution and operations against desired business outcomes and priorities. GTM has teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as in global teams that work across the business areas.

As a Global Product Solutions Lead for App Connect, you will lead go-to-market (GTM) strategy for Google’s flagship web-to-app solution. You will serve as the connective tissue bridging Product Management, Regional GTM, and sales teams to accelerate advertiser adoption and unlock cross-channel App Connect business across performance campaigns like Search, Performance Max, and Demand Gen.

In this role, you will own App Connect activation strategy and execution. Your mission is to eliminate friction in the advertiser setup journey and translate complex technical capabilities into scalable, client-ready business solutions.

As part of the Global Solutions team, you'll help to ensure that Google has adopted the right strategy for our products. Working in one of three specialized areas – Performance, Brand, or Publisher & Platform – you'll use your expertise to help front-line Sales partners to work their magic quickly and effectively. You are passionate about all things digital, and want to help shape the world of online advertising.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $152000 - $221000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Product Management, gTech, regional GTM, Sales, and Marketing to steer the global App Connect strategy, resolve implementation bottlenecks, and drive seamless cross-team execution.
  • Drive the global product-feedback loop by synthesizing seller and client insights (e.g., setup friction, ease-of-use hurdles) to shape the Product roadmap. Lead global feature commercialization, executing multi-tier activation plans across regional specialist and front-line sales teams.
  • Author and scale commercial collateral and communications, including executive pitches, ROI narratives (e.g., Closing the Leaky Bucket), and proof-of-concept case studies, empowering sales teams to articulate the value of app tracking and bidding.
  • Establish global adoption goals and tracking frameworks measuring feature depth (tracking, bidding, deep linking) impact across performance campaigns, including Search, Performance Max, and Demand Gen.
