Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or equivalent project management experience in a technology, media, or finance company.
  • Experience extracting and analyzing data sets to develop insights and recommendations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working across organizational boundaries, building relationships and ideas to achieve broader organizational goals.
  • Experience with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space.
  • Understanding of integrated go-to-market in Enterprise software, with experience working with sales organizations at Enterprise, B2B technology, or cloud organizations.
  • Excellent problem solving skills, with the ability to synthesize data and drive executive-level insight and recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence, with the ability to forge relationships at all levels.
  • Collaboration-first mindset with ability to influence across the organization and lead in a matrix environment.

About the job

As part of the Startup GTM Strategy team, you'll partner closely with sales leadership to design strategies and build recommendations based on a data-driven approach. You’ll work with a variety of cross-functional stakeholders to build alignment and generate results. You’ll acquire a deep understanding of our business and will enable the regional teams with best practices, insights, and processes to execute consistently at scale. You’ll play a key role in shaping the direction of an exciting, high-growth business and will see the direct impact of your work across the organization.

As an Investor Ecosystem Startup GTM Strategy Lead, you will drive the business forward by developing strategy, insight, and structure to accelerate growth and scale the business. You will identify and lead initiatives to deliver value to the business, including conducting analysis, developing recommendations, and crafting execution plans. You will work holistically and collaboratively across investor ecosystem leadership and the broader Google Cloud organization to align on decisions, drive implementation, and measure results.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $186000 - $270000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Global Startup Sales leadership to develop the organization’s strategy and business plan, becoming an integral part of the leadership team as a trusted advisor of the Google Cloud Sales team.
  • Drive key initiatives to support growth and scale, bringing creative problem solving skills to identify and develop opportunities for optimization.
  • Lead designated cross-functional work streams to successful completion, including defining milestones, timelines, and key results.
  • Collaborate closely with regional and global cross-functional teams, including Sales, Startup Strategy and Operations, Global Startups Ecosystem and Programs, Finance, People Operations, and Marketing to achieve shared objectives.
  • Own the construction and implementation of GTM Investor Ecosystem plays across the Startup segment. Drive strategic decision-making by leveraging analysis and insights, aligning project portfolios and Go-to-Market (GTM) plans with company strategy to achieve growth targets for PE.
