Program Manager III, Certified Pre-Owned Operations, Platforms and Devices

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience in coordinating cross-functional initiatives or process development within a supply chain, operations or engineering organization.
  • Experience in supply chain contract negotiations and partner management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in the consumer electronics industry, particularly with product lifecycle management.
  • Experience in circular economy work streams (e.g., trade-in operations, certified pre-owned, or refurbished sales businesses).
  • Deep knowledge of the post-sales value chain and a proven track record of designing new programs to drive growth in global markets (US, Japan, Europe).
  • Proficiency in utilizing data analytics and financial modeling (ROI/NPV) to drive strategic investment decisions.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

As a Service Partnerships Lead, you will play a pivotal role in building and nurturing our global service partner network for Pixel products. This is a unique opportunity to combine your strategic business development expertise with your passion for innovative service offerings.

The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $159000 - $230000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with global suppliers and partner networks. Build new programs to commercially manage our growing repair network globally.
  • Explore new capabilities in the post- sales consumer space and launch new programs. Explore partner landscape and build business cases for on-boarding new partners & programs.
  • Structure service contract language and framework for onboarding new Google hardware products. 
  • Model business cases for optimal reverse strategy recommendations considering multiple variables such as: sales forecasts, return rates, sales channels, geographies, BOM cost, etc.
  • Act as an advocate and liaison for the service organization across Go-to Market and Sales teams.
