Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience communicating with highly senior executive stakeholders in the context of executive programs, customer engagement, or partner experiences.
  • Experience and comfort using AI tools, skills, and platforms.
  • Familiarity with Google’s organizational structure, products, and business strategy.
  • Ability to think strategically about complex issues, develop recommendations, and leverage relationships to move projects forward.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, to prioritize and advance multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including crafting clear messaging and guidance for a variety of audiences.

The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

As the Executive Engagement Lead, you will drive cross-functional strategies, relationships, and operations that enable well-coordinated interactions with Google’s senior executive team and our most strategic partners. You will own the alignment, planning, delivery, and analysis of select tent-pole C-level events on behalf of Global Partnerships (GP), and will partner closely with Marketing to ensure partner interactions are cohesive and aligned to Google’s business priorities.

Global Partnership’s Executive Engagement team enables meaningful executive-level interactions that drive forward Google’s strategic cross-product area objectives. We align Google’s priorities with effective executive preparation for engagements with partner C-levels.

As an Executive Engagement Lead, you will proactively build and sustain close working relationships across GP Teams, Marketing, GAPP, executive offices, and other product area stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and support high-stakes partner interactions. You will work closely with GP teams and Leads to deliver complex executive briefing materials, and serve as a resource for account teams in developing proactive and reactive C-level partner engagements.

This role offers a unique view into how to tie together business strategy with high-touch engagement programming to accelerate Google’s most strategic partner relationships. You will use this perspective to track and measure impact, identify areas for improvement, and support strategic projects for Global Partnerships.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $152000 - $222000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Shape the strategy, planning, and delivery of complex C-level tentpole events (e.g., Zeitgeist, Cannes, I/O) with Marketing, GAPP, and Exec Office, driving cross-functional portfolio alignment with Google’s priorities.
  • Build strong cross-Alphabet and executive office relationships to prioritize and triage engagements with top partner C-levels, advising Global Partnerships teams on well-coordinated strategic engagement plans.
  • Craft high-quality executive briefings. Partner with stakeholders to provide consultative support, share best practices, and lead cross-functional workstreams to scale preparation efforts.
  • Lead cross-functional program coordination for critical initiatives, including proactive C-level outreach, cross-product area event workstreams, and aligned stakeholder communications.
  • Scale qualitative and quantitative measurement frameworks, leveraging insights and stakeholder relationships to continuously optimize future executive engagements.
