Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in a management consulting, sales operations, business strategy or corporate advisory role.
  • Experience in program management and data analysis.
  • Experience working with executive-level clients or stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or other relevant technical advanced degree.
  • Experience executing complex strategic and operational initiatives.
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies, products, trends, and market dynamics.
  • Ability to handle simultaneous projects under deadline pressure.
  • Excellent problem-solving and program management skills.

Solutions, Industries, and GTM Strategy (SIG) are critical drivers of growth, differentiation, and industry-specific innovation for Google Cloud. In this high-impact role within the SIG Strategy and Operations (S&O) team, your work will have ongoing visibility with senior GTM leadership and executive stakeholders as you help shape the future of our GTM business.

As a Strategy and Operation Lead, you will operate at the intersection of industry GTM strategy, product solutions portfolio management, advanced analytics, and business operations. Working closely with vice president and executive-level stakeholders, you will serve as a critical bridge across product, engineering, industry solutions, and regional sales teams. Your mission is to drive alignment, transparency, and operational excellence by translating complex data and field feedback into actionable business strategies.

US: $152000 - $221000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Influence executive-level decision making through deep, scalable, and actionable insights into core business decisions.
  • Manage operational and strategic initiatives by developing work plans, gathering and synthesizing data, and developing recommendations.
  • Perform data analysis and modeling to identify trends and efficiency opportunities. Design scalable processes to minimize inefficiencies.
  • Work with cross-functional organizations within Google Cloud to drive alignment and collaboration on the execution and achievement of key business goals. Provide program performance feedback to enable efficient cross-functional operations and iterate on the program effectively, rapidly, and at scale.
  • Establish expectations and rationale on deliverables for stakeholders and contributors. Communicate status and identify any obstacles and paths for resolution to stakeholders, including executive leaders, in a transparent, regular, professional, and timely manner.
