Ads Solution Engineer, gTech Agency and Partner Engineering

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience working with client-side web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or HTTP).
  • 6 years of experience coding with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C/C++, Python).
  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues for internal/external partners or customers.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or Master's degree in a related technical field.
  • Experience working with Ad tech products such as Ad server, DSPs, DMPs, and web analytics.
  • Experience working in the ad space, first-party data onboarding and activation, measurement and data modeling, video and search advertising.
  • Understanding of engineering solutions built for scale.
  • Effective project management, people management, leadership, problem solving skills, with the ability to formulate data-driven proposal.

gTech Ads is responsible for all support and media and technical services for customers big and small across our entire Ad products stack. We help our customers get the most out of our Ad and Publisher products and guide them when they need help. We provide a range of services from enabling better self help and in-product support, to providing better support through interactions, setting up accounts and implementing ad campaigns, and providing media solutions for customers business and marketing needs and providing complex technical and measurement solutions along with consultative support for our large customers. These solutions range from bespoke and customized ones for our customers to scalable support for millions of customers worldwide. Based on the evolving needs of our ads customers, we partner with Sales, Product and Engineering teams within Google to develop better solutions, tools, and services to improve our products and enhance our client experience. As a cross-functional and global team, we ensure our customers get the best return on investment with Google and we remain a trusted partner.

gTech Ads has established the Agency and Partners (gAP) Organization with a mission to scale gTech's expert services by building a thriving and technically enabled partner ecosystem.

As an Ad Solutions Engineer in the gAP Engineering team, you will be responsible for building and scaling specific tools, platforms, and solutions for our strategic large customer sales (LCS) partners. Through building, implementing and optimizing technical solutions, this team will help agencies and partners achieve their business goals while building long-term tech and marketing capabilities.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $152000 - $221000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for proactively identifying and building a series of solutions and best practices for agencies and partners globally.
  • Leverage engineering skills to design and scale complex, cross-product customized solutions to be rolled out to customers globally.
  • Collect requirements, provide guidance, best practices, and innovative solutions to apply ad products and technologies and drive agency/partner and gTech business goals.
  • Develop innovative solutions to the business problems faced by agencies and partners globally.
  • Identify trends and develop new solutions to reach advertisers and drive business goals.
