Product Manager II, AI Crisis Resilience

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in product management or related technical roles.
  • 2 years of experience taking technical products from conception to launch (e.g., ideation to execution, end-to-end, 0 to 1, etc.).
  • Experience developing or launching products or technologies within artificial intelligence or Machine Learning (AI/ML).
  • Experience defining product requirements, prioritizing tradeoffs, and leading cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, UX, Operations) through product gates and execution.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience operating in high-stakes environments where accuracy, trustworthiness, and system reliability are paramount.
  • Strong systems-thinking approach, with the ability to understand complex architectures, data flows, and dependencies across multiple technical components.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with an ability to use data and metrics to guide product decisions and measure global impact.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across globally distributed teams and navigate ambiguity.
  • Excellent relationship building and negotiation skills, particularly in the context of working with complex external partnerships or authoritative data providers.
  • Deep interest in social impact, emergency management, public safety, or related fields.

We are seeking a highly motivated Product Manager based in Tel Aviv to define and execute our strategy for AI-powered crisis response experiences across Search.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of the next generation of crisis resilience at Google. Use your deep analytical expertise, strong commitment to user safety, and desire to build trustworthy, AI-first systems to guide the experience.
  • Partner closely with engineering and operations within Search, as well as cross-functionally with Google Research, Geo, Partnerships and more to drive massive real-world impact for billions of people globally.
  • Balance the drive for innovative AI solutions with a relentless focus on data accuracy, government authority, and honesty.
  • Build ground-level intuition for user needs during different hazards and be excited about flexibility, working under pressure, and quickly pivoting in response to real-world events.
