Product Deployment Engineer, gTech

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in technical consulting, product management, or solution architecture and project management in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience in building proof of concepts using web/scripting technologies (e.g., JavaScript, Python, etc.) and SQL databases.
  • Experience with advertising technologies, APIs, and data integration.
  • Experience configuring, querying, or troubleshooting CRM architectures (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Klaviyo, or custom internal backends).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a technical field.
  • Experience in an online advertising/customer growth role and familiarity with the ad serving industry and internet technologies.
  • Ability to absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience effectively.
  • Ability to work independently and to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with effective problem-solving, analytical and project management skills.
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into technical specifications.

About the job

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.

You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.

The Product Deployment Engineering Team for Measurement Services, gTech Ads GCS, provides exceptional complex measurement implementation for Google’s top GCS advertising clients. As a strategic technical advisor, the team serves as the critical bridge between GCS customer business requirements and gTech Ads’ service and engineering offerings.

The core objective of the team is to unlock data foundations, specifically driving the adoption of complex Google data strength products. Team members collaborate with high growth customers on non-standard, complex environments to unlock business growth and defend business.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with sales and clients to evaluate technical maturity, marketing objectives, and first-party data strategies, steering accounts toward scalable adoption and high-impact custom solutions.
  • Translate complex customer requirements into reusable system architectures and technical specifications optimised for media activation and scale.
  • Author prototype-backed BRDs/PRDs for engineering hand-offs and codify deployment playbooks to scale standardised delivery across vendor teams.
  • Architect secure data pipelines (e.g., Google Ads API and CRM connections) ensure first-party data activation strictly adheres to global privacy standards.
  • Oversee delivery alongside gTech and engineering teams, establishing rigorous testing frameworks using real-world data subsets to ensure seamless, reliable deployments.
