Analytical Lead, Shopping Partners

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Finance or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience working as a data analyst, business analyst, consultant or similar role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in data manipulation, database and SQL(writing SQL scripts, data pipelines, data visualisation).
  • Familiarity with Digital Advertising.
  • Ability to understand and articulate the “big picture”.
  • Excellent Google Spreadsheets skills.
  • Excellent problem solving and structuring skills, with the ability to bring actionable insights through effective communication.

Analytical Leads are the commercial compass of our business, enabling sharp decision-making from high-level strategy to tactical execution. You will seamlessly navigate between granular details and the big picture, modelling complex scenarios, mastering performance metrics and creatively solving our toughest challenges.

As an Analytical Lead, you will partner directly at SPE Director and Management levels to drive operational rigour, accelerate sales velocity and deliver tangible results. Providing dedicated analytical support to the SPE team, you will translate data into insights. You will build robust reporting infrastructure, run trading operations and develop rigorous lead identification models that directly power our business growth.

Working within the broader Global Business Organization, the Shopping Partners EMEA (SPE) team is a critical function helping shape the Retail ecosystem in EMEA. This highly influential team focuses on nurturing high-value, strategic partnerships with industry leaders in the Retail sector. These collaborations are designed to unlock and amplify significant growth opportunities for our customer base, providing them with the strategic guidance they need to thrive in the competitive market.

We continuously challenge how customers think about their business and how Google can support growth. We focus on helping these players navigate profound industry shifts and drive outsized business performance by competitively selling Google's full suite of advertising solutions across Search, YouTube, Measurement, and more. As a member of our LCS team, you'll have the unique opportunity to sell at the forefront of technology, collaborating with executives, influencing market-shaping strategies, and delivering tangible results that significantly impact major global businesses and drive the growth of Google.Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities

  • Work with SPE Directors and their teams to identify and prioritise business needs, design solutions to fit these evolving needs and develop operational capabilities.
  • Run trading processes, ensuring high operational rigour and taking actionable steps to increase sales velocity across the team.
  • Develop reliable data pipelines and dashboards through Salesforce/PLX reporting design.
  • Understand, analyze and interpret trends to generate insights for account management teams to help prioritize business activity.
  • Build relationships with the EMEA Analyst and GTM communities to drive efficiency and scale best practices. Partner with GTM, Sales Finance, gTech and Sales Leaders to define business requirements for reporting.
