Administrative Business Partner, APAC Comms

Minimum qualifications:

  • 3 years of administrative experience in a high-tech or international environment working on core administrative tasks (e.g., travel management, expense reports, calendar management, facilities coordination, etc.).

Preferred qualifications:

  • 6 years of administrative experience supporting executive-level management in a corporate environment, and managing small-scale projects and events from pre-planning to execution.
  • Experience supporting leaders within global organizations and serving as a project lead from conception to completion.
  • Knowledge of Google and project management practices to solve operational issues.
  • Ability to grow in extremely fast-paced environments, demonstrating high flexibility, adaptability, and autonomous execution.
  • Ability to cultivate strong relationships, leverages perspectives, and communicate effectively across all job functions.

As an Administrative Business Partner, you're at the heart of your team's business operations and activities and the soul that keeps your team moving forward. You anticipate the needs of your managers and team members and help them stay focused on their projects by resolving operational and administrative issues before they arise. You move quickly with the changing environment and are up to date with the latest Google products and services. You also use that knowledge to strategically support your team's projects. In addition to being organized and analytical, you possess the strong business judgment and communication skills needed to interact with a variety of people and job functions.

In this role, you will be an Administrative Business Partner supporting leaders of Asia-Pacific (APAC) Comms team at Google. You will work with a team of communicators.Administrative jobs at Google are staffed by organized and dependable people driven by a common company goal: to help us accomplish great things. Working behind the scenes, we make a significant impact on the people we support as well as on Google users around the world. We're adept at leading and managing a variety of simultaneous projects, which requires the particular talent of being able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Act as strategic air traffic control for theleaders daily schedule, strictly prioritizing time against P0 business goals, OKRs, and critical leadership moments. Coordinate seamlessly across multiple executive offices, Google Leads, and external VIPs.
  • Manage complex, high-frequency domestic and international travel itineraries, accommodations, and ground logistics. Prepare detailed travel briefings and proactively resolve multi-time zone scheduling conflicts.
  • Lead end-to-end operational planning for critical moments, executive offsites, meetings, and leadership forums. Provide high-touch support for internal and external engagements.
  • Help to build efficiencies into executive workflows by defining best practices and integrating AI tools. Serve as a culture carrier across the GCPA's Administrative Business Partners (E/ABPs). Support development, and operational standards.
  • Maintain absolute confidentiality and discretion on sensitive business, organizational, and personnel matters. Partner closely with the S and O, GAPP, Marketing REWS, and People Operations.
