Marketing Analyst, Search Marketing

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience in marketing analysis using statistical techniques (e.g., hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, and significance testing)
  • Experience in marketing measurement and using investigative insights to guide media planning or experience working in digital marketing (e.g., Marketing Mix Modeling (MMMs), Performance incrementality geo experiments).
  • Experience with data extraction and manipulation, dashboarding/visualization, experimental design, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling techniques (leveraging Python, R, SQL, or Hadoop).
  • Experience using data for storytelling and presenting research findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Research Methods, Economics or other quantitative field.
  • Experience in growth marketing and performance marketing analytics.
  • Experience with end-to-end ownership of analytics roadmap, from inception to execution.
  • Experience with data mining principles and querying data sets (e.g., using SQL for collecting data from multiple data systems).
  • Knowledge of media data(first-party google channels and third-party channels) and generating actionable insights to increase marketing campaign efficacy.
  • Ability to influence cross-functionally and work effectively across functions and geographies.

As a part of Marketing Analyst, you will lead key measurement and analytics programs, playing a strategic and technical role with a focus on determining the incremental impact of marketing on product growth. Your own measurement, define milestones, direct agencies/vendors, delegate tasks, prioritize, plan, and manage projects to completion.Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. The US base salary range for this full-time position is $117,000-$167,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Drive Search Marketing strategy by delivering insights to shape programs and evaluate initiatives like brand and growth campaigns, and global partnerships.
  • Define problems, develop metrics, extract data, create dashboards, and communicate results and recommendations to business executives.
  • Serve as the team's expert on media incrementality, Marketing Mix Modeling (MMMs), Match Market Tests (MMTs), social and digital measurement methodologies, including Channel level experiments and Brand lift tools.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across global marketing, product management, analytics, and engineering, to align on data, key metrics, and methodologies to generate insights that drive user growth.
