About the job

As a Creative in Marketing, you bring visual, design, written and experiential acumen to Google products and services, presented across all major media, content, channels, and experiences. You have the ability to perform your role in a flexible, ever-changing environment and must be open to new influences and inspiration. You will work with a deeply cross-functional team and inspire a team of vendor partners by sharing ideas and developing effective solutions to generate multiple concepts supporting all forms of major media. You will be equally comfortable making; rolling up your sleeves and designing, mocking, writing, or prototyping; showing, not telling. Above all, you will inspire and lead by example by making the most of every opportunity to develop breakthrough creative, consistent with the Google Marketing brand, and be able to take and provide clear direction and creative feedback that pushes work forward.

DeepMind is looking for an exceptional Video Editor to join our team in London. We are looking for a visual storyteller who doesn’t just cut footage, but acts as a creative partner—someone who can take a complex scientific milestone, a loose brief, or raw assets and separately shape them into cinematic, engaging narratives.

In this role, you will work closely with our Creative Leads to build out our video pipeline, including hero product films, technical capability demos, documentaries, and YouTube-first content. You will possess a rare blend of high-end editorial craft and the autonomy to self-start projects from assembly to final polish.

Artificial intelligence will be one of humanity’s most transformative inventions. At DeepMind, we are a pioneering AI lab with exceptional interdisciplinary teams focused on advancing AI development to solve complex global challenges and accelerate high-quality product innovation for billions of users. We use our technologies for widespread public benefit and scientific discovery, ensuring safety and ethics are always our highest priority.

We are pushing the boundaries across multiple domains. Our global teams offer diverse learning opportunities and varied career pathways for those driven to achieve exceptional results through collective effort.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with in-house creative teams and external production companies to edit and deliver high-quality video content.
  • Assemble raw footage, audio, and graphics into polished hero product films, technical capability demos, podcasts, and documentaries.
  • Manage full post-production workflows from initial assembly and color grading to sound design and final export.
  • Ensure asset consistency across multiple formats while upholding DeepMind brand standards and visual guidelines.
  • Create engaging social-first content for a variety of platforms and audiences.
