About the job

Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google’s functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines.

Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. We help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users, and then get those products into their hands.

OmniLab's mission is to connect developers with devices at scale. We are building a vertically integrated developer device platform that allows both internal and external developers to access the physical or virtual devices they need, right when they need them. Our work is critical to the success of nearly every product at Google, from Android and Pixel to Google Cloud and AI.

As a Product Strategy Lead in the OmniLab team, you will be at the heart of our startup within Google. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our customers, our operations, and our overall business strategy. You will solve complex problems and build strong relationships.

The Core team builds the technical foundation behind Google’s flagship products. We are owners and advocates for the underlying design elements, developer platforms, product components, and infrastructure at Google. These are the essential building blocks for excellent, safe, and coherent experiences for our users and drive the pace of innovation for every developer. We look across Google’s products to build central solutions, break down technical barriers and strengthen existing systems. As the Core team, we have a mandate and a unique opportunity to impact important technical decisions across the company.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the strategic direction for OmniLab’s business operations, focusing on vendor ecosystem optimization, go-to-market execution, and strategic customer engagement.
  • Own the development and execution of a comprehensive Go-to-Market (GTM) strategy to establish our brand, enable channel partners, and drive adoption.
  • Lead engagement for strategic customers and key verticals. Develop a joint GTM motion with partners and act as the ultimate customer advocate to translate needs into actionable strategies, which may require flexibility to support global customer conversations, including some overlap with US business hours.
  • Lead large-scale, ambiguous, and cross-functional programs that directly impact business growth, operational efficiency, and customer success, driving alignment from strategy through to execution.
