Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in product design or UX.
- Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 15 years of experience in product design or UX.
- Experience building and launching products from the ground up, contributing to both product strategy and design execution.
- Experience designing for AI-powered products and services, with knowledge of the challenges and opportunities the technology presents.
- Ability to collaborate with engineers and understand the technical implications of design decisions.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.US: $236000 - $329000 (USD) + 25% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Drive high-impact product opportunities by bringing in market analysis, competitive insights, and user needs, then mapping this data directly to the UX experience strategy to inform product direction.
- Drive product ideas through with cross-functional teams and lead senior stakeholder decision-making by developing compelling narratives and compelling design proposals.
- Own the design and strategy for collaboration experiences that are critical to driving business impact across the Google Workspace suite.
- Inspire and lead cross-functional partners across the entire Google Workspace suite of product areas to ensure a unified user experience, always keeping the user at the center of the process.
- Own the UX strategy and design execution for multiple strategic areas within the Generative AI Foundations Platform.
