Data and BI Program Manager

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 7 years of experience in technical program management, business intelligence, or enterprise data operations.
  • 7 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience establishing or maintaining data quality frameworks, validation rules, and trust scoring to prepare data ecosystems for GenAI integration.
  • Experience serving as a liaison between business stakeholders, analytics, and engineering teams to define requirements and align technology roadmaps.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience governing project delivery budgets, staffing allocations, and managing external partner SOWs and operations.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise data platforms, star-schema golden datasets, semantic layers, and managing large-scale reporting ecosystems and ETL pipelines.

Data and technology solutions are essential to achieving our mission; we enable the portfolio to scale efficiently, improve employee experience, and support Google’s growth. Within REWS, the Data, Analytics & Planning (DAP) team is dedicated to ensuring the effective deployment, governance, and scale of technology and data solutions to support REWS' objectives.

  • Providing enterprise governance and strategic oversight to dashboard, data pipeline, and operational engineering teams delivering business-critical BI, and data platforms across REWS.
  • Designing and scaling an AI-ready enterprise data model (Project Strata), defining canonical KPIs, Golden Datasets (Space, CapEx, Lease, Agreements, Badging), data contracts, and semantic layers for GenAI integration.
  • Managing vendor ecosystems and program resources, governing project delivery budgets, staffing allocation, and partner SOWs across DAP initiatives.
  • Engaging strategically with executive leadership and cross-functional partners (CorpEng, Finance, REWS Leadership) to align technology roadmaps with broader organizational goals.
  • Ensuring operational excellence and continuous optimization for Technical Programs, Data Quality governance (across 9 core domains and 260+ business rules), and self-service analytics enablement.
  • Establishing consistent, scalable horizontal program delivery frameworks across global workplace operations.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $164000 - $239000 (USD) + 20% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of Project Strata to transform legacy data tables into star-schema Golden Datasets, canonical metric catalogs, and AI-ready products.
  • Oversee strategy and operational governance for the REWS enterprise reporting ecosystem (190+ dashboards) and automate recurring manual processes.
  • Direct the Data Quality program and serve as the strategic bridge between business stakeholders, REWS Analytics, and CorpEng Engineering.
  • Establish executive KPIs and scorecards while optimizing delivery frameworks, risk management, and global data literacy programs.
