Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking.
  • Experience in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
  • Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
  • Experience managing agreements or partnerships.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in business development and partnerships including executive partner management, structuring and negotiating agreements, and experience handling sensitive partners, with proven ability to rigorously structure, analyze, and solve complex business problems.
  • Strong executive presence and experience presenting to senior leadership, both internally and externally, with the ability to thrive in an ambiguous, matrixed, fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of the telco and video streaming ecosystem in India.
  • Excellent people and communication skills to formulate and articulate contractual, technical, financial, and business points with partners and internal teams.

Google's line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google's newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.

The YouTube Product Partnerships (YTPP) team drives partner strategy and manages the key relationships that help to make YouTube’s products more universally accessible and useful. We own the business side of new products and initiatives, and our strategic partnerships seek to build, distribute, grow, and protect YouTube’s products globally. We know how to assess partnership opportunities in any situation, define a strategy, and work closely within our team, and with Product, Marketing, and other cross-functional stakeholders to drive critical partnerships that help evolve our business.

As a YouTube Product Partnerships SPM , you will be responsible for managing top partners for YouTube in India - building strong relationships, identifying partnerships and growth opportunities and negotiating/executing agreements. You will need to have a deep understanding of the streaming ecosystem that includes - AVOD and SVOD services, devices and telcos and the engaged landscape. You need to work closely with internal cross-functional business and partnership teams in India and with Global YTPP counterparts and represent the YouTube India perspective in internal forums.

Responsibilities

  • Manage top partners for YouTube in India and build/maintain relationships with key partner stakeholders.
  • Evaluate new partnerships opportunities for YouTube and manage negotiations with partners.
  • Execute and perform tracking of agreements that support YouTube business objectives - in coordination with cross-functional teams.
  • Build a deep understanding of the streaming, telco and device ecosystem in India and keep APAC and Global YouTube Leadership updated on India market trends and engaged landscape.
  • Build strong internal relationships with Google Business and Partnerships and Product teams and support broader YouTube and Google initiatives.
