Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 7 years of experience in data modeling, developing data sets, or creating data visualizations.
- Experience using BI tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI to create visualizations and dashboards.
- Experience writing SQL queries.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience building and maintaining automated ETL/ELT pipelines, backend data models, and navigating ambiguous datasets.
- Experience using SQL and BI visualization platforms to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Experience with OLAP cubes or multi-dimensional modeling (e.g., defining dimensions, measures, and star schemas for reporting).
- Experience using GenAI/LLM tools to accelerate reporting, automate manual tracking, or streamline code production.
- Experience synthesizing complex technical insights for non-technical leadership.
About the job
As a part of the Google Global Infrastructure (GGI) team, you will oversee the physical infrastructure powering and connecting all of Google’s consumer services, AI services, and Cloud services globally. Your team will be responsible for the strategy, operations, technology roadmap, delivery, and optimization for Google’s global footprint of data centers, energy and network infrastructure, across design, power, space, and fleet-wide demand planning.As a BI Analyst, you deliver complete components of business intelligence solutions that integrate into overarching, high-impact projects. You demonstrate working knowledge of BI tools, data architectures, and methodologies to design dashboards and maintain scalable data pipelines. You develop solutions for ambiguous business problems, improve existing analytics infrastructure, and translate metrics into formats that enable supported teams to quickly derive relevant information. Additionally, you actively adopt and leverage AI tools to accelerate data pipelines, script generation, and analytical workflows.The AI and Infrastructure team is redefining what’s possible. US: $141000 - $205000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities
- Design and deploy end-to-end business intelligence solutions, including interactive dashboards and reporting tools.
- Develop and maintain robust, scalable data models and automated Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) pipelines ensuring high-performance and accessibility.
- Validate, curate, and audit metrics/schemas across systems to guarantee data integrity, consistency, and alignment with organizational Key Performance Indicator (KPIs).
- Translate complex data and analysis into clear, digestible narratives, standard reports, and self-serve visualizations (e.g., using Plx, Looker, SQL) for business stakeholders.
- Serve as an "AI Explorer," continuously identifying opportunities to inject Generative AI (GenAI) agents and Large Language Model (LLM) tools into daily workflows to optimize code drafting, generate automated technical documentation, and rapidly prototype data schemas.
