Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, sales, content, news/media, influencer marketing, e-commerce or technology industries.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience managing complex, end-to-end partnerships.
  • Experience in working with C level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of managements.
  • Ability to identify potential business opportunities, assess financial/business benefit, structure agreements, and discuss terms with strategic partners.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Passion for the digital industry, content creators, multi-channel networks, TV or creator service providers.

About the job

As a Strategic Partner Manager specializing in Multi-Channel Networks (MCNs) and Creator Service Providers (CSPs) on the Content Partnerships team at YouTube, you'll have a unique opportunity to build and scale long-lasting relationships with your portfolio of CSP partners and MCN agencies. You're comfortable managing complex content owner agreements, driving ecosystem health, and working cross-functionally with cross-functional colleagues to ensure our partners are positioned to effectively scale outreach and support across thousands of channels on YouTube.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strategic partnerships with TV and Creator Service Provider (CSP) partners to drive positive impact to YouTube watch time, partner earnings and user growth.
  • Identify and lead exploratory discussions with partner C-level for strategic, innovative ideas to grow content ecosystem in the market and globally, with responsibility.
  • Lead and own partners' YouTube business growth by religiously tracking key metrics and analysis key trends and highlighting issues and drive agenda in business review meetings.
  • Identify key industry trends and participate in industry events to cement YouTube's role and positioning to content, media and marketing industry.
  • Manage and navigate complex stakeholder management to achieve YouTube's business goal. Resolve business issues with partners in a timely and effective manner.
