About the job

Join the Google Pixel Brand Management team to lead the brand strategy, creative expression, and compelling narratives across first-party (1P) and third-party (3P) retail channels. As a Sr. Brand Marketing Manager, you will shape how consumers experience Google’s brand across physical and partner touchpoints, serving as the go-to voice for our retail brand strategy.

In this role, you will lead the 1P brand strategy and narratives for Google Store physical locations, creating permanent and modular brand moments. You will work in lockstep with the Google Store team, while they land efforts to drive foot traffic, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), local media, and local events, and will craft the strategy and physical brand experience and narratives that captivate users once they arrive.

For 3P retail, you will define the brand strategy, guidelines, and core narratives in carrier and retailer spaces, including brand-in-store and product magic experiences. You will also partner closely with global and regional partner marketing teams to provide brand guidance on key product priorities for full-funnel co-marketing campaigns, while advocating for retail media spend and elevating the visibility and strategic consideration of retail in overall brand planning.

You will independently solve complex, ambiguous problems lacking clear precedent, partnering closely with Retail, Partner and Product Marketing, Sales, Regional teams, and external creative partners. You’ll be a cross-functional storyteller and master of communication, managing competing interests of senior stakeholders to ensure brand excellence.

Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.
