About the job
Google's leadership team hand-picks thorny business challenges, and members of BizOps work in small teams to find solutions. As part of this team you fully immerse yourself in data collection, draw insight from analysis, and then zoom out to develop compelling, synthesized recommendations. Taking strategy one step further, you also persuasively communicate your recommendations to senior-level executives, roll-up your sleeves to help drive implementation and check back-in to see the impact of your recommendations.
The Ads and Commerce Finance team provides strategic analysis and forecasting of Google’s business-generating products to executive audiences (SVP Ads, CFO, Head of Global Sales, etc.). As part of this team, you will have a unique perspective on Google’s core businesses, services and the ecosystems that they operate within.
As a quantitative revenue analyst for YouTube, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the platform's monetization strategy. You will leverage data to identify key business opportunities, forecast revenue, and provide insightful analysis to executive YouTube leadership. This high-impact role involves examining market trends, conducting incrementality studies, and developing scalable financial tools to drive strategic decisions and optimize investment levels.
You should be experienced with and passionate about using data to solve complex business questions and drive recommendations in a fast-moving environment. You will be comfortable with writing code to mine insights out of Google’s internal ads logs, analyzing external data to understand the motivations and decision-making process of Google’s users and advertisers, and communicating findings to executives.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
