Market Consultant, CEE

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10 years of HR Business Partner or HR Management experience.
  • Experience in HR in two or more of the following areas, such as organizational design, succession planning, business consulting, employee engagement, coaching and development, talent management and employee relations.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience implementing large-scale HR projects, risk management/mitigation and supporting change management, business readiness, communications, and training activities.
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration and driving decisions with multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Knowledge of HR, Center of Excellence (CoE) disciplines and local employment law.
  • Excellent project management skills and delivery, able to manage multiple simultaneous priorities.
  • Excellent project/change management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

As a Market HR Consultant for our Central Eastern Europe team, you will be at the forefront of shaping the employee experience at some of the most thriving sites at Google. Your role requires a thought leader, program manager, and influencer, moving beyond traditional HR. You will make a significant impact on our CEE sites, including Romania, which continues to grow and thrive. You will be a proactive, strategic thinker capable of leveraging data and insights to create a better future for Romanian and CEE based Googlers. You will work on a range of focus areas from new hire experience, empowering our Manager community, market HR compliance reporting and the roll out of new HR programs and processes. While a background in Romanian employment law and experience with workers' councils and unions is beneficial, we are looking for an analytical and experienced HR leader with a passion for building proactive and scalable solutions.Great just isn't good enough for our People Operations team (known elsewhere as "Human Resources"). Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the relevant teams to ensure end-to-end delivery for HR processes in Romania and Central Eastern Europe.
  • Contribute to the deployment of high-priority country focused HR programs and initiatives, aligned to the country people plan.
  • Manage local employment policy and practices to ensure legal and regulatory compliance, resolving compliance matters and reviewing local policies in the context of the market.
  • Partner with the HR Compliance team, Process Ownership team, User Support team and relevant Center of Excellence (COE) teams to prioritize and mitigate market-related risks.
  • Comply with all company health and safety policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
