Senior Technical Program Manager, Google Cloud Business Platform

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in program management of cloud computing emerging technologies.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in tightly partnering with engineering, product management and support teams to facilitate the design and delivery of features, bringing to market cloud products.
  • Track record of successfully delivering complex software products, in-depth knowledge of project management. Ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact with technical groups.
  • Excellent technical judgment and leadership across organizational and team boundaries.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of complex programs in cloud billing, ordering, and FinOps space. Be responsible for defining milestones, managing schedules, and ensuring the achievement of OKRs while clearly communicating program status and risks to stakeholders.
  • Forge strong partnerships with key counterparts across product management, engineering, UX, data science to align on the strategic vision for building and enabling commercial flexibility for Google Cloud.
  • Act as the primary driver for resolving complex blockers. Dive deep into technical, process, or organizational challenges, navigating dependencies and mobilizing teams to find effective resolutions.
  • Partner with influence stakeholders and executive leadership across the business to drive strategic alignment on commercial flexibility. Resolve complex architectural challenges and deliver improved business outcomes.
  • Become a subject matter expert in Google Cloud Business Platform (GCBP) ecosystem and work closely with engineering and product partners.
