Technical Program Manager, Compliance and Security Enablement

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience with the software development lifecycle.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience working directly with software engineering teams as a technical program manager.
  • Experience managing cross-functional technical dependencies across multiple distinct teams, with a capability to bring order and clarity to highly ambiguous, fast-moving environments where technical requirements are evolving.
  • Experience proactively identifying systemic bottlenecks, mitigating architectural risks, and driving architectural trade-off decisions.
  • Proficiency in planning, execution, and communications management, with a track record of tailoring communication to different audiences.
  • Skill in translating ambiguous business goals into concrete technical requirements and system definitions.

You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of complex, multi-team roadmaps with cross-functional dependencies, organizing and managing the "what, who, when, and how" of projects, and independently adjusting program levers to deliver high-quality results on time.
  • Determine and collect data required to govern programs. Author program trackers, deliver regular status reports, and establish clear structures for mitigations, postmortems, and escalations.
  • Lead effective program team meetings, proactively manage dependencies across teams, and execute tasks while incorporating product excellence values and influencing cross-functional engineering teams and leadership toward a unified technical vision.
  • Design and deliver tailored program communication plans targeted by stakeholder type, ensuring transparency into program progress, pivots, and mitigations.
  • Triage technical issues across teams, assess the impact of technical escalations, and resolve tooling/process gaps that affect engineering execution.
