About the job

As the Director, Social Strategy for Cloud Marketing, you will own the strategy, direction, and execution of social initiatives that drive awareness, conversation, sentiment and downstream pipeline and revenue for Google Cloud’s Marketing team. You will act as a strategic thought partner to the Senior Director, Growth and Integrated Marketing, bridging the gap between social media strategy and cross-functional team execution.

You will lead a practice area that focuses on social, influencer, and activation planning across Google Cloud’s suite products including Gemini Enterprise and Google Workspace. You will set the vision for how these critical channels will help drive awareness and engagement, oversee agency and internal partners to drive execution and implementation at the highest bar, and partner with cross-functional leaders to ensure that our programs and investments are integrated, culturally relevant, and effective.

Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
