Health Hardware and Enterprise Product Planning Lead

Product and Business Strategy Leaders bring together teams across Google’s functions to help products execute optimally. Our team pushes Google to scale at key points that refine our products and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines.

Our roles often include components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry, building business plans), operations (e.g. running the cadence of organizations, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects. We help Engineers, PMs, UX, and all of our other functions to build amazing products that delight our users, and then get those products into their hands.

In this role, you will drive Health's Hardware and Enterprise businesses. You are responsible for the end-to-end business outcomes of the relevant businesses, from near-term business and profit delivery to creating multi-year strategies and moving these strategies into execution. Achieving these goals will involve a high degree of business acumen, robust structured problem solving, strong analytics, and the ability to synthesize recommendations and drive decisions with executive leaders. In addition, you must work hand-in-hand with Product Management, Operations, Sales, Business Development, Marketing and other cross-functional teams to deliver results.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $150000 - $218000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end business outcomes for one of Health’s hardware product lines. Drive planning for new devices in the product line, including pricing, volumes, and economics. Ensure the devices are set-up to drive Health’s overall business goals.
  • Deliver end-to-end business outcomes for Health's Enterprise business. Develop strategies to grow the business long-term by structuring complex business questions, gathering and analyzing large amounts of information, and developing compelling, insightful recommendations.
  • Drive in-year delivery of Health's Enterprise business plan and Health Hardware line, including business and gross profit goals.
  • Drive consensus and decisions among the Sales team, Business Development team, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Provide guidance to cross-functional teams on product features, market positioning, and other business levers. Work closely with Sales, Business Development, Product Managers, and executive leaders to operationalize recommendations.
