About the job

The Google Cloud Platform team helps customers transform and evolve their business through the use of Google’s global network, web-scale data centers and software infrastructure. The Cloud Marketing team is looking for people who can help us write and tell the story of our customer's journey. Understanding the power of our products and how they impact businesses, you will help share how we provide our customers with the best solutions for innovation. If you’re as excited about building what’s next as we are, Google Cloud is the place for you.

In this role, you will help shape and deliver impactful content for Google’s most high-profile global events, focusing specifically on the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region. You will play a pivotal role in strengthening the Google brand—particularly across artificial intelligence (AI) and other key initiatives. We are looking for a curious storyteller with a background in content production, journalism, events, or communications who excels at managing projects in a changing environment.

Know the user. Know the magic. Connect the two. At its core, marketing at Google starts with technology and ends with the user, bringing both together in unconventional ways. Our job is to demonstrate how Google's products solve the world's problems--from the everyday to the epic, from the mundane to the monumental. And we approach marketing in a way that only Google can--changing the game, redefining the medium, making the user the priority, and ultimately, letting the technology speak for itself.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development of event agendas and speaker acquisition for major events, researching, identifying, and booking internal and external speakers and individuals.
  • Demonstrate curiosity about the world around us, and seek to hear from and identify voices who talk to pressing issues.
  • Develop and create a variety of content assets (e.g., executive briefs, speaking remarks, scripts, videos, and case studies) to bring narratives to life.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in content and speaker strategy, advising other Google teams on best practices for editorial programming.
  • Advocate and demonstrate the use of artificial intelligence for efficient work and execution.
