Product Deployment Engineer, gTech Ads (English)

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience technical consulting, product management, or solution architecture and project management in a customer-facing role.
  • Experience in building proof-of-concepts using web/scripting technologies (e.g., JavaScript, Python, etc.) and SQL databases.
  • Ability to communicate in English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or Applied Science, or a related field.
  • 8 years of experience managing projects and working with analytics, software coding, or customer-side web technologies.
  • 8 years of experience with data analysis and SQL/MySQL.
  • 8 years of experience in a customer-facing role.
  • 8 years of experience in operations management (i.e. process improvement, operational reviews, optimizing workflows, etc.).

About the job

As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.

You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.

As a Product Deployment Engineer within gTech, you will be a key advisor to Google’s customers and serve as the definitive regional service authority for a specific product area. You are the strategic bridge between “what a customer wants” and “what gTech Ads has to offer” within a specific product area, whether via the standing Menu of Service (MoS) or our gTech Ads engineering capabilities. Your role requires an understanding of the gTech Ads Menu of Service (MoS), customer engagement skills, and the ability to translate customer needs into scalable product strategies and high-quality technical-product specifications that address business challenges. You will bridge the gap between media consultancy and engineering, ensuring that Google’s gTech Ads engineering capabilities are deployed for high-impact business challenges that directly activate customer business and drive campaign performance.Google creates products and services that make the world a better place, and gTech’s role is to help bring them to life. Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales and Engagement Managers to understand customer marketing objectives, infrastructure and first-party data management strategy, and pain points.
  • Identify systemic product gaps and edge cases during client embeddedness to serve as a direct feedback loop to core Ads Product and Engineering teams.
  • Translate complex customer requirements into clear technical specifications and solution designs, considering scalability, reusability, and best practices as well as a clear path to media activation.
  • Lead the technical hand-over to engineering teams, authoring high-quality Business Requirement Documents (BRD)/ Product Requirement Documents (PRD) for bespoke solutions that are grounded in proven prototypes and aligned with the product strategy roadmap.
  • Architect robust data-in and data-out connections, such as bulk importing conversions from CRMs into Google Ads for O2O campaigns or bulk exporting lead-gen data via the Google Ads API.
